Registered Manager
Lead and grow our Maidenhead and Windsor service
We usually respond within three days
Award-winning Top 20 Homecare Provider, GoodOaks Homecare, is looking for a Registered Manager to lead and grow our service in Maidenhead and Windsor
We're known for supporting people properly, both the clients we care for and the people who work with us. We help people carry on living well in the homes they love, through high-quality visiting care and live-in care.
You'll work closely with our Director, who comes from a clinical background and is genuinely passionate about providing a great service, and you'll have the backing of the wider GoodOaks network behind you. The branch covers Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, Taplow, Eton and the surrounding area.
We opened in September 2025, so this is still a young branch and we're growing. That means you'll need to be hands-on and happy to roll your sleeves up, helping build the service properly rather than stepping into something that's already up and running. This is a growth role.
What the role involves
• Registering with the CQC as Registered Manager and taking responsibility for quality, compliance and the safe running of the branch
• Running the branch day to day, including rostering and the smooth delivery of care
• Carrying out client consultations and assessments, writing care plans, and onboarding new clients
• Keeping care plans and risk assessments accurate and up to date
• Recruiting, inducting, supervising and developing a care team you're proud of, promoting from within wherever we can
• Handling feedback and complaints openly, and using them to keep improving
• Building relationships with hospital discharge teams, GP surgeries, community groups and local professionals, and working alongside the Director to grow both visiting and live-in care
• Taking part in the shared on-call rota, with an additional payment. Where you cover care visits yourself, these are paid at the visit rate on top of your salary
What we're looking for
• An experienced Registered Manager.
• CQC registration held, or the willingness and ability to register
• A good working knowledge of CQC regulations and what good compliance looks like in practice
• Passionate about high-quality, person-centred home care
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
• The resilience and drive to help build a growing service
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• The right to work in the UK. We're not able to offer sponsorship
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check to work with vulnerable adults
What you can expect from us
• A competitive base salary, with regular salary and performance reviews
• A performance-related bonus linked to care quality, compliance and the growth of the branch
• An additional payment for the on-call rota, and the visit rate on top of your salary for any care visits you cover
• Paid mileage and a paid enhanced DBS check
• GoodOaks Virtual GP for you and your family, with online appointments at no additional cost, 365 days a year
• Full training and ongoing support, including help to complete your Level 5
• Blue Light Card and volunteer days
• The support of the wider GoodOaks team and the backing of the UK's only carbon-neutral care franchise
A role you can build a future in
This isn't a caretaker job. You'll be shaping a branch, a team and a service that's genuinely your own, in an area with real room to grow, with a Director who cares about getting it right. As the branch grows, so does the role.
GoodOaks Homecare Maidenhead and Windsor is committed to safe recruitment and to protecting the adults we support. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
